Some of the best drivers and fastest cars in British motorsport will be in action at Prescott Hillclimb this weekend when the Bugatti Owners’ Club plays host to the opening event of the British Hillclimb Championship.
Who and what to look out for…
Mathew Ryder secured his first BHC title last year and set a new hill record at Prescott in August 2024. Will his dominance in the BHC continue at Prescott this year?
The British Top 10 will be looking to make a strong start being the opening round of the Championship. Witness the battles and find out for yourself how the results table will be shaped after Prescott.
The second round of the Midland Hill Climb Championship is taking place on this weekend as well, bringing 10 bumper classes. We will see the majority of the 2024 winners for each class taking to the Hill, but can they hold their titles!
BOC’s very own New Barn Cars MOT Speed Championship also has its second round of the Championship at Prescott on the 26th & 27th April. Chris McQueen took the initial lead after Loton Park and will be looking to maintain position with James Warne in 2nd overall as well leading novice.
Saturday 26th April, Prescott will be hosting a taster day for Girls on Track UK where we have 10 women joining us who are looking at getting involved with marshalling at hill climb events.
Sunday 27th April, as part of their IntoSpeed programme, the British Women Racing Drivers Club will be hosting a social and familiarisation event (more details for both of these events can be found on our News page on Prescott’s website).
Practice will take place on Saturday with a final practice run on Sunday morning. Timed runs and Top 12 run offs for the fastest cars on the day will all take place on Sunday.
