Live coverage of the 2022 Wera Tools British Kart Championships brought to you by Motorsport UK.

The Wera Tools British Karting Championships is the highest national platform for karting across Great Britain. The championship that every young racer wants to win, it is the entry level point for the stars of the future and provides a competitive and enjoyable environment for racers from a variety of motorsport backgrounds. Some of the most famous drivers have British Kart Championship titles on their CVs including Anthony Davidson, Paul di Resta, Oliver Rowland and George Russell. With more than 500 drivers competing each and every year, the 2022 championships will feature 13 classes racing across 12 race weekends throughout the UK.

PFI is the UK’s largest outdoor karting circuit based in Grantham, Lincolnshire and caters for various corporate events and race meetings throughout Lincolnshire, Newark, Nottingham and the UK.

British, European and World Championships are held at PFI, as well as a club race held once a month by Trent Valley Kart Club who are based at the track. The circuit was built by Paul Fletcher, who still owns it today.

Recently in 2011 an extension was added on to the track including a bridge, making it one of a kind.
