Shelsley Walsh hosts the latest rounds of the 2023 Motorsport UK British Hillclimb Championship, with the fastest hill climb cars, arguably in the world, all going for points and glory.

The event is also rounds of the BHC Cup and Midland Hillclimb Championship.

After practice on Saturday, Sunday will see all the important competitive runs. The highlights will be two Top 12 Run Offs where the fastest drivers go all out for crucial British Hillclimb Championship points.

New for this event, there will also be two ‘Tin Top’ run offs for the fastest saloon cars, like to include Damien Bradley’s Subaru Legacy, Simon Bainbridge’s SBR Crono and Stephen Moore’s Mitsubishi Evo 6 Rs.

In the British Championship Run Offs, Wallace Menzies (Gould GR59M) will be looking to repeat his two round wins from his visit to Shelsley earlier this year but will be pushed hard by the likes of Scott Moran, Matt Ryder, Alex Summers and Will Hall.

Shelsley Walsh is the oldest motorsport venue in the world still to run events on the original course. That’s older than Indianapolis, Le Mans and Monza!
